I’ve been around for quite a few years, here at Journey Community Church. My family and I moved to Richmond, KY from Ohio in 1989. Here we found a special home. Madison County is a great place to live and Journey Community Church is a gathering of exceptional individuals who are serious about living in God’s amazing grace.
We are passionate about blessing others. Our love for God as a priority of life means we also have a love for people. We are serious about benevolently reaching out into the community and we are constantly active to help people in need.
We are a church on a journey toward God’s heart and we want to be involved in enhancing the journeys of those around us. Our services are geared for touching and being touched by God in meaningful worship. We also like questions and welcome questions texted to me about the sermon during the sermon. I then set aside a few moments to answer those questions before the end of the service. That is an important component of our worship. Your questions are extremely important to me.
I personally consider myself a life-long student. Retaining a teachable heart is important to me as I continue to learn about this incredible God we serve through Jesus Christ. Currently working through a doctoral dissertation, I find that learning new things brings significant spice to life.
